EDT, EDP and Parfum: Understanding the Difference
EDT stands for Eau de Toilette and EDP for Eau de Parfum. You may also see Parfum or Extrait de Parfum. These labels identify a fragrance expression and concentration, but formulations and percentages can vary between houses.
The same name can have different expressions
Do not assume each version is simply an identical scent made stronger or lighter. Its composition and character may change. Compare the description and notes of the specific version before ordering.
How should you choose?
Consider the scent you enjoy and where you plan to wear it. Give it time to develop during a trial. A Parfum label alone is not a guarantee of a particular wearing experience or a fixed number of hours.
Check the version and the size
Concentration and bottle size are different choices. A smaller decant is not a lighter concentration when it comes from the same fragrance version. Check the full fragrance name on the product page, then select your preferred available size.
