Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy

At Areej, we are committed to providing a reliable, safe, and transparent shopping experience. This policy ensures full protection of your data and statutory rights in compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

1. Shipping & Delivery

* Processing Time: Orders are prepared and processed within 1 to 3 business days, then handed to the carrier for standard delivery.
* Transit Time: Processing periods do not include transit times, which vary depending on your location and the selected carrier.

2. Mandatory Prerequisites for Accepting Returns

* First: Unboxing Video (The Sole Proof): Due to the sensitive nature of our products, and to protect the rights of both parties, recording a clear, continuous, and unedited video (Unboxing Video) when opening the package for the very first time is a strict, mandatory prerequisite to accept any return from the customer or review any claim. The video must clearly display: the external shipping label, the intact security seal of the shipping box before opening, the actual opening process, and the inspection of the products showcasing any damage, breakage, or shortage.
* Second: Serial/Lot Number Verification (For Full Bottles Only): All sealed full bottles dispatched from our inventory are explicitly tracked by their production batch numbers (Lot Number / Batch Code). To accept any return or exchange of a full bottle, the returned item must perfectly match the specific Lot Number recorded in our system for your order.
* Third: Security Seal Integrity (For Decants & Splits): Since custom decants and splits do not bear factory lot numbers, any claim regarding damage or shortage must show the intact store-specific security seal/packaging at the exact moment of unboxing within the mandatory video.
* Automatic Rejection Policy: Any return request will be automatically and categorically rejected, and no returned package will be accepted from the customer if the unboxing video is unavailable, if the Lot Number of a full bottle does not match our store’s recorded logs, or if the security seals of a decant have been tampered with. No alternative proofs will be recognized under any circumstances.

3.  14-Day Return  (Change of Mind)

In accordance with Egyptian law, you have the right to return Full Bottles / Sealed Items within 14 days of delivery without providing a reason:
* Condition: The product must be completely unused, unopened, in its original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and security seals entirely intact (verified via the mandatory unboxing video and Lot Number matching).
* Cost: For valid change-of-mind returns accompanied by a valid unboxing video and correct serial codes, you will receive a full refund without incurring any shipping or return fees, as prescribed by law.
* Exclusion (Decants & Splits): Custom decants and splits (3, 5, 10, 25, and 50 ml) are strictly prepared upon your direct order and tailored to your specific requirements. Therefore, under Article 40 of the Consumer Protection Law, they are exempt from change-of-mind returns due to their custom-made nature and unsealed packaging.

4. 30-Day Defective or Damaged Items Policy

If a product arrives damaged, broken, shorted, or possesses a manufacturing defect, your rights are fully protected under the 30-day legal warranty, subject to providing the mandatory unboxing video and verifying the conditions stated in Section (2):
* Reporting Window: Transit damage or shortage claims must be reported along with the mandatory video within 24 hours of receipt to enable us to file a swift logistics claim and document the incident with the shipping carrier.
* Resolution & Costs: For verified defect or damage claims proven by the video and matching codes, Areej will provide a replacement or a full refund at absolutely no additional cost to you. Refunds will be processed within one week of claim approval via the original payment method.
